At least two people are believed dead and dozens more have been injured after a grenade attack in a busy central square in Belgium.
There were several explosions in the centre of the Belgian city of Liege around midday on Tuesday (local time).
Local media is reporting a man has thrown four explosive devices, killing two people.
At least one other man is thought to be involved. One of the attackers may be among the dead.
At least 25 people including an 18-month-old boy have been injured.
Medical staff are said to be attending to the injured in the city’s courthouse.
Initial reports suggested the grenades were thrown at a bus stop. It is now thought the attacker threw the first grenade into the courthouse, then started shooting at police in pursuit.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack, which happened in Place Saint Lambert square.
